Companies whose own brand products are cruelty free

These are a list of companies whose own brands do not test their products on animals! Some of them are PETA certified or listed on the cruelty free international website.

Quick reminder: The leaping bunny logo (below) certifies that the product has been named 'cruelty free' under the 
internationally recognised Humane Cosmetics/Humane Household Products Standards and means that the product has not been tested on animals in the UK or anywhere else in the world (including sales in China).

Argos-

"A multi-channel retailer selling general merchandise and products for the home from over 700 stores throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland, online and over the telephone. Argos own-brand cosmetics and personal care ranges are certified free from animal testing"

Asda-
Asda brand are not listed on PETA or Cruelty free international for being cruelty free, however they do state twice on their website under their own brand products, "Not tested on animals" and "Asda is against animal testing and funds research into alternatives"

Morrisons-

"All Morrisons own brand personal care and cosmetic products (including things like shampoo, deodorant and toothpaste) are certified as ‘not tested on animals’ by the Cruelty Free International Humane Cosmetics Standard, symbolised by the Leaping Bunny logo"

"Our Morrisons branded personal care and cosmetic products are approved under the Humane Cosmetics Standard and we aim for certification under the Humane Household Products Standard in the future."

M&S-

"At M&S, we know that many of our customers are concerned about the use of animals for testing cosmetic and household products. We're against animal testing too.

We don’t test any of our M&S beauty or household products on animals. But we wanted to go further than this. We guarantee that none of the individual ingredients in our beauty or household products is tested on animals either, starting from a fixed cut-off date of January 2006."

"As one of the United Kingdom's leading retailers. In addition to their clothing, home and food products, M&S retail a wide range of own-brand cosmetic, personal care and household products, all of which are certified cruelty free by the BUAV and carry the Leaping Bunny mark."

NEXT-

Say they are cruelty free on the packaging.

Primark-
"Primark does not conduct and does not commission any animal testing. Our terms of trade with suppliers make it clear that cosmetic products and their ingredients must not be tested on animals."

The Co-Operative-
"The Co-operative Group is the United Kingdom's largest mutual retailer, fifth largest food retailer and third largest retail pharmacy chain. The Co-op's own brand cosmetic, personal care and household product ranges are all approved cruelty free."

Sainsburys-
"Supermarket Sainsbury's sells a complete range of beauty and baby products. All its own-brand personal care products are certified cruelty free."

Super drug- 

"Superdrug is the UK's second largest beauty and health retailer offering customers accessible everyday beauty at great value. All of Superdrug own-brand toiletries and beauty products are certified. Superdrug is owned by AS Watson. This parent company is not certified."  

Both Superdrugs own brand and their B. range are both all cruelty free and contain some vegan products which all hold the cruelty free international logo!

Tesco-

Tesco's products all have on the packaging "This product has not been tested on animals. We fund research into alternatives.", However are not listed on anything as a cruelty free certified brand.

Waitrose-

"With 337 branches throughout England, Scotland and Wales, awarding Waitrose with the Leaping Bunny has increased the range and availability of cruelty free certified personal care and household products on the high street."

Other companies like, Boots, New look, Topshop, Poundland and Wilkinsons are very vague or don't mention it at all on their FAQ's or packaging, so I probably wouldn't trust them until I know for definite that they don't test!
