The perfect travel size shampoo and conditioner duo!

Wednesday 18 May 2016

Whenever I go shopping in a Salon Services (Sally's) I literally loose my shiz. They just sell sooo many products and It overwhelms me so much I end up spending about 2 hours in there, just choosing a shampoo and conditioner (my life is exciting). This time when I went to buy some goodies I came across a new (for me) brand that they now do called Maria Nila.

Maria Nila are a Sweedish company who have their own production plant in Helsingborg, where they develop and manufacture every single one of their products. They offer a huge range of shampoo's and conditioners for all types of hair and have done for the last 40 years. Their philosophy is to produce the best product possible without compromising the hairs' health or the environment.

All of these products have SUCH lovely packaging. They are each different colour depending on what they do, for example; the light pink ones are for coloured hair, green are for hair that needs to be repaired etc. The design on the bottle is nice and simple, yet pretty.

"This luminating shampoo for coloured hair that rebuilds and strengthens the hair structure, giving your clients, softer and stronger hair no matter how often it's styled."

Both of these products are perfect to take on holiday, especially if you have freshly dyed hair and don't want it to fade whilst you're in the pool or sea or just generally exposed to the sun. It does a really good job in rehydrating hair colour that needs it either because it has been exposed to too much heat or washed too much or even if its just naturally faded a little. It gives the colour a boost.  It also it helps hold hair colour much much more than usual,  I find that when I use this less hair dye comes off on the towel after I wash my hair than usual! This product also contains zero sulphates and parabens in! Score :).

"This detangling conditioner for coloured hair softens, moisturises and fights static electricity, so your clients leave with gorgeous hair no matter how often they colour."

This is so good in the fact that my hair gets extremely knotty if I wash it and don't condition it, and when I use this I notice a huge difference when it comes to actually brushing it! Obviously like every other conditioner, this does the job of making your hair feel lovely and smoothe after washing, but, this conditioner actually makes a huge difference in comparison to others. It doesn't feel super heavy on your hair or weigh it down, it literally gives you that post-hairdresser hair feeling! You know the one.. perfectly smooth hair which flows lovely, styles lovely and ALWAYS looks brushed.

Both of these products, In my opinion, are fab. Its not often you can find a good shampoo and conditioner duo which have no sulphates, parabens, harsh ingredients, is vegan and cruelty free AND is sold in an easily accessible shop AND in travel size. (That was a mouthful). I would 100% re-purchase these, I'm actually going to take them travelling with me this summer, as they're not easy and won't weigh down my backpack, and they aren't crappy for my hair, which will definitely be needing some TLC. I actually own some of these products in full size, different types and I am hoping to try these other goodies from their colour care range soon;

Have you tried any of Maria Nila's products? If so, let me know what you thought in the comments below!

Thanks for reading!
